The relationship between the pet stylist and each pup they work with is very important for successful and fear-free grooming services. Allowing your pet stylist time to build a trusting bond with your pup will allow your dog to experience maximum comfort during their grooming appointments.

Our grooming services are charged at an hourly rate and prorated to the nearest quarter of an hour to ensure fair compensation for your pet stylist for their grooming & handling expertise. Time charged is only active working time in which the groomer is working with your pup.

$70 1st hour

$60 each additional hour

• All services are available by appointment only.
• Full grooming services are available by appointment Monday through Friday each week.
• Limited grooming services (Nail Trims, Luxurious Baths, Face, Feet & Fanny Haircuts) are available by appointment most Saturdays and Sundays.

The length of time for a grooming appointment depends on the type of appointment, the size of the pup, the type of coat of the pup, the condition of the pup's coat and the comfort of the pup with the grooming process and their pet stylist. We expect Full Body Haircut appointments to take between 1-2 hours for a small dog that is groomed regularly.

Do you have a new puppy or dog? 

Book a 45-minute consultation with our professional Pet Stylists to introduce your dog to their new stylist. The first 5-15 minutes of your consultation will be with the Pet Stylist to go over recommended coat care and the ideal groom schedule for your dog's coat type and temperament. The remainder of the consultation is for your dog to spend time with the stylist in the store & grooming area.

*Please expect to leave your dog with the groomer for 30-40 minutes so that your pup may spend time getting to know the groomer.*

(No grooming services are performed on dogs during a Consultation. This is for expert information and introduction purposes only.)

Introducing your puppy to grooming as early as possible ensures they acclimate to the grooming process without stress. We offer select services for puppies to familiarize them with being groomed. This can be done in stages to prevent anxiety & build a healthy, loving relationship with our Pet Stylists & the entirety of the grooming process to promote confident and well-adjusted dogs.

*Puppy Grooms are ideal for puppies who are between 8 weeks and 12 months of age. If a dog has never been to a professional groomer before, or they are within this age range and have never been to A Paw Place for grooming, a Puppy Groom is mandatory for the psychological well-being of your pup.*

Your pup's Luxurious Bath booking includes full body wash using premium coat & skin care products, blowout, brush out, nail trim & ear cleaning

Your pup's Face, Feet & Fanny Haircut booking includes a luxurious bath, blowout, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning & trimming around face, feet & sanitary area

Your pup's Full Body Haircut booking includes a luxurious bath, blowout, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning & full body haircut.

Dogs who require full body haircuts should be groomed every 6-8 weeks for proper coat maintenance with a combination of our Luxurious Bath, our Face, Feet & Fanny Haircut and our Full Body Haircut services as needed.
